SBCC Group (Sai Balaji Cancer Clinic Women's Group)

Sbcc women's group ( Sai Balaji Cancer Clinic)  a group started by Dr. Kalarani Sivakumar, functions in Mylapore at the clinic. It was started to help the patients and survivors to cope up, open up and face the fears of the disease.   Remembering  good times is an inherent pleasure of our daily life and memories partly fuel our actions, because having lived a happy moment gives us an incentive to repeat it. We share the funniest   moments to crafting a dream  for one another, celebrating and remembering the happy times spent together during our monthly meets. It is a celebration of milestones for all of us. Our events always celebrate life. 21st April  was  the third anniversary of our Sbcc women's  group. Life is visualizing  hope with our own eyes and also feeling it in our core.  As life unfolds, it is these type of friendships that take us a long way in life.....t he nature of friendships continues to grow as we age. Each year's calendar is unveiled amid much rejoicing.  A few hours spend together......forgetting everything....just being friends gives loss of memories to walk the path of life be it a beautiful road or a thorny path. A friendship that is just one that gives spaces to the other......a source of inspiration to the other........whatever be it.....it is a belief of being there for the other.  SBCC group is one that believes in empathy......we re-live our childhood, teenage and all the mischief of college days..... pulling each other's legs in a healthy way. This month was quite different from other months as we were celebrating the end of one year and welcoming the new year. Is it just that....then the answer is no because we do learn a lot too...
